Adi Herbs was born in 1989 with a simple yet powerful vision: to bring back the pure, time-tested wisdom of Ayurvedic hair care in a modern, accessible way—free from harsh chemicals and full of nature's goodness.

It all started with one iconic product: Timeless Classic Satreetha Shampoo.

Inspired by centuries-old Indian traditions, where families have relied on Satreetha (Reetha)—the natural soapnut—for gentle cleansing, shine, and scalp health, we created a shampoo that honored this heritage. In an era when synthetic products were becoming the norm, we chose to stay true to nature. Our original formula captured the gentle lather and nourishing essence of pure Satreetha, helping countless people rediscover stronger, healthier hair without stripping away natural oils.

That single bottle marked the beginning of our journey. Over the decades, as more people sought chemical-free alternatives and embraced Ayurveda's holistic approach to hair wellness, we listened and evolved—always staying rooted in the 12 essential herbs that power every Adi Herbs product.
